When newly experimenting with the depths of black and white and macro photography I was compelled to take a photo of this flower. I saw this beautiful flower in my garden after a rainy day, and decided to click away!
I volunteer at a rehabilitation center. I do room visits and talk to the residents. I find it a fantastic experience hearing different stories, remembering coffee orders, and playing games.
Senior Year Painted Parking Spot
In our senior year, we can paint our parking spots. When thinking of an idea I wanted to delve deeper into something that resonates with my abstract side. I thought about a card game that reflects high school life, and UNO came to mind. UNO has always been a family favorite. After the pandemic, I reached out to my counselor in the effort of an idea to showcase arts for the district and raise money for the school. I was informed that Art Saves Lives was an event running but recently stopped because of the pandemic, so I took the initiative to reach out. Working closely with the art department, staff at HHS, and the Art Saves Lives foundation, we were able to have it run back on. I helped manage the financial aspects; that year, we made a profit of $800.
In addition to the previous year, I continued the help the Art Saves Lives Foundation to happen at HHS. In the year 2023, we were able to raise a total of $2,000
